How to find us

By tramway

Coming from the airport or main station take line 6 in direction of the university
Leave the tram at the “Zentralbereich” of the university station (central area of the university)
After leaving the tram cross the tramway to the left
Follow the stairway up to the Mensaboulevard and follow the boulevard to its end to follow the stairs down to the Leobener Street
Follow the Leobener Street northwardly, until you reach Leobener Street number 8
The MARUM building that houses the collection is located on the left hand side
The entrance of the collection (room 0180) can be found in the corridor directly left after the fly brake of the main entrance, the office of the collection (room 0030) is the first office on the right hand side after the main entrance

By car

At the Bremen autobahn interchange take the A 27 to Bremerhaven
Exit at “Bremen Horn-Lehe/Universität”
Drive into the direction “Centrum/Universität” (center/university)
At the next traffic light turn to one’s right
After about 2 km turn to one’s left into the Leobener Street
On the corner you pass the Centre for Deep-Sea Research and after about 100 m you will find parking (unfortunately there is a fee)
