Geosciences Working Group
The Geosciences Working Group of the Faculty 5 offers an approach to geology, palaeontology and mineralogy to the public – this usually takes place on each second Thursday of the month (see calendar for individual variations). Furthermore, these meetings make it possible to discuss with each other and to get advice from a scientist. Beginners will benefit from getting an easy access to geosciences. In addition excursions managed by professional geologists are offered not only for the members of the working group, but also for those of the Natural Science Club of Bremen and other guests. These meetings include a generally comprehensible talk on geoscientific topics by members of the working-group and external speakers. All interested parties are welcome, registration for the Geosciences Working Group and the lecture is not necessary!
